An event-management SaaS with deep integration into Salesforce and Marketo, built for enterprise event planners. Laravel backend, Vue.js frontend, multi-tenant from day one.
The brief
Calendars Cloud is event-management software for large enterprises whose events are deeply intertwined with their CRM and marketing automation. The CRM/MA integrations are the product — get them wrong and the customer never trusts the rest.
What we built
- Salesforce integration — bidirectional sync of contacts, leads, accounts, and custom objects. Conflict resolution rules per field, scoped to tenant.
- Marketo integration — list sync, campaign attribution, lifecycle program triggers fired by event activity (registered, attended, no-show).
- Vue.js admin with the operational complexity hidden behind sensible defaults — event planners shouldn’t need to think about API rate limits.
- Multi-tenant Laravel backend with row-level isolation and tenant-aware integrations (each tenant brings its own Salesforce + Marketo credentials).
- Webhook ingress for products that publish events outside the integrated CRMs, so the system is open at the edges.
Outcome
The integrations didn’t just work, they became the reason customers chose the platform — moving event data into Salesforce and Marketo without nightly CSV exports was the differentiator.
